Nowadays we all want to LIVE in the URBAN AREA of the city,
Due to the EASE of ACCESS to all our NEEDS However,
UNEQUALITY DEFINE the TERRITORY at its own convenience
and LOW-INCOME people are REMAIN in MEDIOCRITY.
“Mi casa es tu casa” “My house is your house”, this phrase is used to welcome
guests and new members of the family (strangers), in order to feel at home. The goal
is for everyone to be comfortable and share as a family.
Nowadays inequality of land and the overpopulation in the urban area is one of the
most important issue in South America. Poverty in Ecuador is connected with
architecture to show the bad accessibility, Slope land, small spaces, poor material
and non basic service.
During 1960 to 1970, Quito land development was already built. Flat land and
valleys were taken by rich and middle class people. Low income people move to the
slope land and they have to find the way how to build their own houses. Slope land
can be the new land for a social housing and for people to live in good condition.
Latino culture is about sharing with people spend time with family and friends.
From this way of living is where Co-sharing space must be the main focus in this
project.
Sharing the common space with different families and at the same tiene reduce the
space to make the community affordable to the residents. Co-sharing concept
responds to the Site and Latino Culture as a new way of living in family, which it is
not common in South America.
