半半 BangBang
希臘哲學家齊諾：
「一隻箭要射到一個目標，它必需先飛過前一半的距離，但要飛完前一半又需先飛過前四分之一的距離，要飛完前四分之一又需先飛過前八分之一的距離等等。
因此這種一半又一半的過程是永無止盡的。於是他說，這隻箭就永遠無法離弓了。」
According to Greek philosopher Zeno, a shooting arrow must fly halfway before it reaches its destination, and to reach halfway, it must fly a quarter of the way; before a quarter, there’s a one-eighth; and so on. That is, the process contains an infinite numbers of half ways , meaning that the arrow could never leave the bow.
我們亦在這一半的距離中，而這一半又是哪個一半中的一半？二分之一的一半？四分之一的一半？八分之一的一半？我們不知道，但能夠確定的是 – 我們在前進，企圖抵達那個目標。
Likewise, we are halfway on our paths, but of the whole joinery, what exact stages are we at? Is it a half, a quarter ,or an one-eighth? We don’t know, but we are certain that we are moving forward to reach our goals.

一半空氣、一半的菸。」

A half is coffee, a half is water.
A half is air, the other half is smoke.”
凌晨時分，腦袋沉沉的。
拿起剛買的咖啡抿了一口，嘗到一半咖啡的苦澀中有一半牛奶的香醇、一半的香醇中又是一半剛醒時口腔裡的乾澀。左手拿著咖啡右手拿著菸，深吸一口氣，吸進一半的空氣與一半的菸、一半的菸內是一半的雨水潮味、一半的潮中又是一半的噴膠氣息。
漸漸恢復一半的清醒，清醒在一半的迷茫中。
It’s late at night before dawn and my head feels heavy.
I take a sip of the coffee I just bought. It’s half bitter and half milky-mellow with a half of an astringent taste due to my sleepiness. I hold the coffee with my left hand while a cigarette on my right one. I deeply inhale half the air and smoke, half of which is the moldy smell of the rain containing half of the odor that comes from airbrushes.
I’m gradually half sober off my other half of haziness.

1/50的圖，我們看到細部；進入1/50的圖之前需要先進入1/100的圖，我們看到空間；進入1/100的圖之前需要先進入1/200的圖，我們看到配置；進入1/200的圖之前需要先進入1/500的圖，我們看到都市。這種過程是永無止盡的，但在這之中我們找尋各自的建築。
From a 1/500 map, we can see the city; from a 1/200 map, we can see the site; from a 1/100 one, we can see the spaces, and from a 1/50 map, we can see the details. This process never ceases which we can find our own buildings in.
一個三角形要成為一個圓形，它需要將各個線段折成一半，形成一個六邊形；再將六邊形個個線段折成一半，形成一個十二邊形；再將十二邊形個個線段折成一半，形成一個二十四邊形。這種過程是永無止盡的，但在這之中我們找尋各自的語彙。
To transform a triangle into a circle, each line segment needs to be folded in half to form a hexagon; then fold all the hexagonal line segments in half to form a dodecagon. After that, fold all line segments in half again to form a twenty-four-sided polygon. This process is endless in which we search for our own vocabulary.
若想要完全私密的空間，則需要完全不透明度的介面；若想要溫煦陽光的進入，則需要半透明的介面；若想要直接與外界接觸，則需要完全透明的介面。這種過程是永無止盡的，但在這之中我們找尋彼此之間的關係。
For completely private spaces, completely opaque interface is indispensible; to let the warm sunshine pour in, translucent interface is needed; to contact directly with the outside world, we need fully transparent one. This process is incessant, while in this we figure out the relationship between each other.

I’m studying Architecture at Tamkang University.

Suppose all objects are composed by a limited number of tiny, invisible parts. Under this assumption, it is impossible to divide a circle into equal halves, because the center of a circle must belong to one half, which violates the premise that two halves are equal.
因此，
「建築就是一半的建築與一半的不建築。」
「畢業設計就是一半的建築與一半的_ _ _。」
「畢業展覽就是一半的我們與一半的你們。」
Thus,
"Buildings are half architecture and half not."
"Graduation project is half architecture and half _ _ _."
"Graduation exhibition is a half of us and a half of you."
這種過程是永無止盡的，但在這之中我們又前進了一半的距離。
This process continues forever in which we have proceeded another half.
